The seasoned B2B sales expert will help drive the company’s global sales efforts.
Shelton, CT, May 12, 2022-- Mica Corporation (Mica) is pleased to welcome Donald J. (DJ) Wroble Jr. as Vice President of Sales. In this role, DJ will oversee Mica’s global sales efforts, and lead Mica’s technical sales team.
DJ has extensive experience leading teams for large multinational companies as well as smaller privately held companies in the B2B specialty chemical, infrastructure, industrial, and OEM verticals. He started his career as a development chemist for packaging coatings and inks at BASF. He spent the next 20 years of his career in various capacities at BASF, where he was instrumental to the growth of the company. More recently, DJ has held executive sales and marketing roles at VersaFlex, Raven Lining Systems, and PolyOne. He holds a BS in Chemistry and Business from the University of Louisville, and an MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Xavier University.
DJ will work closely with Mica’s Sales and Marketing Strategy Manager, Jaclyn Epstein, to generate new sales opportunities and establish collaborative partnerships to accelerate innovation.
